The municipality of Zubin Potok occupies the northwestern position of Kosovo and Metohija in the area of Ibarski (Stari) Kolašin, in the valley of the Upper Ibar, between the mountain Rogozna in the north and Mokra Gora in the south, i.e. Ribarićka gorge in the west to Zupč in the southeast. This westernmost of the three municipalities with a predominantly Serbian population in Kosovo and Metohija covers an area of 333.5 km 2 , at an altitude of 550 to 1750 m.
